Our story

How We Met

In 2018, a series of coincidences brought them together.

Joshua was posted to Edo State for NYSC before being redeployed to Lagos. Around the same time, Adeola had been posted to Nasarawa State and was also redeployed to Lagos.

Through a mutual friend Joshua had met at the Edo State camp, their paths crossed on the day they were due to report to the local government for registration. Since Joshua was driving, the friend connected them so they could all make the journey together.

Their first journey together began that day, with Adeola in the front seat of Joshua’s car.

Neither of them knew then just how permanent that seat would become.

Since that day in 2018, Adeola has remained in the front seat. First as Joshua’s friend, then his girlfriend, and now to be his wife.

Sometimes, forever begins with something as simple as a ride. ❤️
